MINCA and Child Advocacy in Alma are hosting a VOCA Grant training/work day on April 5, 2016. The plan is to have experienced CAC directors and VOCA grant writers join us to share information, tips, and attachments used for VOCA grant application
This session is designed to help CAC directors who have not written a VOCA grant get prepared for the RFP release (which could be any day now). The goal is that this day will help prepare CAC directors and help to relieve some of the fear/anxiety of writing this grant.
The location for the training is listed below. The facility does have a gymnasium, so if you want to dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes you are welcome to get up and walk around during the day. This might help keep us on task and keep our stress levels down.
We would also recommend wearing layers, because it is a larger facility and the temperatures vary with the weather. We will be using a larger conference room area, so we can move tables and set up how ever we feel is most comfortable and conducive to learning.
Please direct any questions to Audra Stahl by email or 989-463-1422.
Lunch will be served and water/coffee will be available.
The meeting will be held at the following Location:
Youth For Christ Student Center
2550 W. Cheesman Rd.
Alma, MI 48801
