Departmental Analyst E  $1,570 - $2,460 bi-weekly


Job Description:

The crime victim assistance program in the Crime Victim Services Commission is authorized under statute to administer federal Victims of Crime Act victim assistance grants authorized under the federal Victims of Crime Act of 1984. Responsibilities include research, collect consolidate, analyze and maintain program data necessary to meet program reporting and evaluation requirements and the goals of the agency program service. The position is responsible for analyzing on-going program operations and recommending modifications of policies and procedures to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness and conducting complex projects. In addition, this position will evaluate applications and analyze program grants and various budgetary documents to assure program and fiscal compliance by federally funded direct service contracts.


Required Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.




Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.


Departmental Analyst 10

One year of professional experience.


Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.


Additional Requirements and Information

This position is open to all qualified applicants however, preference may be given to current Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) employees and MDHHS employees in layoff status.


This position is located at 235 S. Grand Ave, Lansing, MI.
