Northern Michigan CAC Seeks Family Advocate

The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center in Roscommon is seeking a full-time Family Advocate to provide support and information to children and non-offending caregivers when there have been allegations of child abuse. The Victim Advocate will assist families in accessing needed services: immediate crisis intervention, applications for Crime Victim Compensation, long term counseling at or outside of the CAC, medical care, emergency financial assistance, and other resources to resolve issues related to victimization, including reduction of barriers to those services. A Bachelor’s degree in the human service field required. If interested, apply by June 30th.
